Folks, it is finally happening. I need everyone to remain calm.
The Jonas Brothers just put out their first single in seven years. I REPEAT, the Jonas Brothers just put out their first single in seven years.
When I woke up yesterday and saw they had not only created an Instagram account, but also recreated one of their greatest memes I was ecstatic.
Was it 2008? Did I need to study for a math test in Mrs. Blanchard’s class? Did I remember to get my permission slip signed for our field trip?
Slightly dramatic, but you get the point. I made everyone at Carolina Now listen to the Jonas Brothers, and I scanned Twitter the entire time I was at the hair salon to see if a secret Beyonce style drop had already happened. No luck.
So, I had to wait until midnight to listen to “Sucker” just like everyone else.
When I finally heard it….DANG. THE JONAS BROTHERS DIDN’T KEEP US WAITING FOR SEVEN YEARS FOR NOTHING!
The music video was extravagant and featured every one of of their wonderfully beautiful, talented, and accomplished wives. The song has the powerful elements and strong musicality from “Lovebug” that made us fall in love with them, and the same pop hype Joe Jonas took with him to DNCE.
